MOM 2005 Resource Kit released (because admins need Power Toys too)

As Nick MacKechnie notes, the MOM team have released (early!) the resource kit for Microsoft Operations Manager 2005. https://www.microsoft.com/mom/reskit has all the details and a download link, but here's a summary of the contents:

  • Management Pack Toolkit: Tools to help you create, test, deploy, customize, maintain and troubleshoot management packs.
  • Infrastructure Management Solution Accelerators: Best practice guidance and tools.
  • MOM Product Connectors: Connect MOM to other management products in heterogeneous environments.
  • Troubleshooting Tools: Quickly repair and diagnose problems (including collecting all information required for a PSS call).
  • MOM Power Toys: Cool tools that didn't make it into the product bits (SharePoint web part that displays pop-up alerts, anyone?)
