SMS & MOM news

I've just pushed out another month's worth of Management Updates. Since both MOM 2005 and SMS 2003 SP1 are hot off the presses the marketing team have a lot to work with, so the hard part is keeping up! Here's some good bits that you might have missed:

• SMS have worked with Dell to create the SMS 2003 Inventory Tool for Dell Updates. This lets you deploy Dell firmware and driver updates using SMS technology.
• SMS also worked with MacroVision to create AdminStudio SMS Edition, which uses InstallShield technology to simplify the process of packaging, customizing, and pushing out updates.
• Order a free Windows Server System Evaluation DVD, containing the following goodies Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, SMS 2003, SQL 2000, SPS 2003, ISA 2004, Windows XP, and Office 2003.
• Finally, if you're in Europe, go ahead and register for IT Forum 2004 (16-19 November in Copenhagen) and you'll get a free copy of MOM 2005 Workgroup Edition.
