A Feature in Vista Worth Celebrating

In case you haven't noticed, I'm a bit of a skeptic about most things. Some might even say I'm a crank. A curmudgeon. A cynic.

But today I wanted to upgrade to the latest build of Windows Vista from the one I'm on. Historically that meant backing up all my local files to a network server, formatting the disk, and starting over. Normally, I just create one large partition because I always seem to run into size problems if I create two.

But today. Today I found "Shrink Partition" on the Disk Management MMC. I shrank my primary partition and created a new one.

Oooooh. I'm a happy camper.
