We’re out of the initial handwavy portion of Tuscany planning and, thanks in large part to the comments of the folks on this blog, we’re into the next phase: prototyping. And that means hiring — developers and program managers are needed.
- Software Development Engineer. I’m looking for a candidate with a BS or MS, and at least 5 years of commercial software programming in C or C++. The candidate needs a working knowledge of C# and ASP.NET and preferably of the VSIP interfaces. You will also need strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage cross-group relationships. There’s lots of room for growth in this startup team, so get on board early.
- Program Manager. I’m looking for a candidate with a BS or MS with 4+ years experience as a program manager. You’d need experience gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed functional design specifications, excellent oral/written communication skills. (for both internal and end user), a high degree of competency with project management including: issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status, a proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new features, and familiarity with web-based product development including some but not all of the following technologies: ASP.NET, Visual Studio Integration, Web services.
