Aaah, Amsterdam!

Whenever I arrive at a new location, I want to check it out. Primarily, I want to know where my hotel is, and where my meetings are. To accomplish this, I've been trying to bend MSN Maps to my will (Google Maps doesn't have enough European coverage). Last night, I tried to show my wife where I was in Amsterdam. I started with just mapping the address of the hotel (Prinsengracht 315-331). Then the RAI (convention center). But I wanted to give her an idea of where it was in the Netherlands. I was very surprised to find that Terraserver high-res has color coverage of the whole Netherlands.

But mostly, I've been surprised by the tuned church bells that keep ringing, playing various familiar classical tunes.
