The White House Open Data Day Hackathon is Feb 22. If you're a developer interested in attending in person, move quick and submit your application. Go ahead, it’s only six fields to fill out. The application period opens at 11:00pm E.T. on Tuesday, February 5th and closes on Wednesday, February 6th at 5:00 p.m. ET. The goal of this hackathon is to give a sneek peak to the APIs underlying We the People. Read more.

It’s not too late to submit your Windows Store and/or Windows Phone apps for Generation App’s Ultimate Experience. You can qualify for Store Registration Fee Reimbursement, a copy of Halo 4, and a chance to win an Xbox 360 with Kinect, and three lucky developers will get to “go backstage” with the Windows 8 Games Studios team.
