POOM the easy way

Pocket PC development has always been a secret passion of mine, and after writing a series of columns that appeared on MSDN, I still get emails asking various questions.

“Are you the real John Kennedy?“, “Aren't you dead?“, “Your columns suck, can I have a job writing them instead“ and so on and so forth.

A lot of those emails are also actually sensible, and are about POOM - the technique for accessing the Pocket PC's internal databases used for contacts, calendar and so on.

I was therefore pleased to read about Poom .Net, a product designed to make it easier for Compact Framework developers to access POOM. I've not had a reason to try it, but if I was developing .NET apps on a Pocket PC, I certainly would take a look.
