Sync problems with SkyDrive – does Windows XP compatibility mode work for you?

First, apologies for the problems that some users are seeing with getting OneNote to connect to SkyDrive.  We've heard these reports and are trying to get to the root of the problem. If you are experiencing this problem when trying to sync to SkyDrive and if running OneNote in “Windows XP Compatibility mode” allows OneNote to sync successfully and want to help, please click the "Email Blog Author" link at the upper right to contact me.  I will follow up in email.

    Yes that works for me, but when will we see a fix?  How do I know when the fix comes out?  The work-around works, but it's a little annoying since a message pops up everytime I run it in compatibility mode.

    I have this same issue: Works at home but not at work. When I run in compatibility mode that seems to fix the issue at work. The only other thing I have to add is I didn't have the issue initially and there are days at work when the issue goes away.

    Can you check the running services to see if Webclient is running?

    I can confirm that turning on the WebClient Service solved the problem for me.
