Future support for the MSMQ-MQSeries Bridge

Windows Server 2008 isn't too far away so it's useful to know what will be supported on it.

Obviously MSMQ 4.0 will be part of the operating system as usual but what about the MSMQ-MQSeries Bridge?

The Bridge comes as a part of Host Integration Server and HIS2006 is the latest version.

Currently supported operating systems for HIS2006 are:

  • Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server 2003 R2
  • Windows XP Service Pack 2

Windows Server 2008 will be added to the list with the release of HIS 2006 service pack 1 which is currently scheduled for Q4 FY08 (or, in English, April-June 2008).
