How does the MSMQ-MQSeries Bridge cope with progress?

The MSMQ-MQSeries Bridge "is a connector application used to interface computers running Message Queuing applications and computers running IBM MQSeries applications."

As you know, IBM rebranded MQSeries as WebSphere MQ many moons ago (when version 5.3 came out) but Microsoft decided not to do likewise which sort of gives the impression that the Bridge doesn't work with WebSphere MQ.

Obviously this is not the case as Microsoft have just completed validation with WebSphere MQ 6.0.2.1 for the Bridge in Host Integration Server 2004.

HIS 2006 has already been successfully checked but HIS 2000 is out of mainstream support and so will not be tested with WebSphere MQ.
