Based on my experience from passing the 70-178 today I'm convinced there’s no reason not to take Project 2010 exams now! The 70-177 “Microsoft Project Server 2010, Configuring” is available for quite a while and I know many of you have already passed it (me including).

How to prepare ? We have pointed you out to the learning plans for 70-177 and upcoming for 70-178, and definitely the Project 2010 Train & Learn site is not to miss!
