Two Azure Hands-on Opportunities

The other day I posted on some of the newest development in Windows Azure, and if that’s spurred you on to learn more, there are two great immersive (hands-on) opportunities coming up in Boston and beyond.

Global Windows Azure BootcampSaturday, April 27th is the day of Global Windows Azure Bootcamp, a one-day, deep dive class to get you up to speed on developing with Windows Azure. It’s completely free, just bring your laptop outfit with these prerequisites.

There are over 100 locations listed worldwide, and In the Northeast, events will be held in the following locations

  • Boston MA – Nutter, McLennen & Fish, 155 Seaport Blvd (register here)
  • Rochester NY – Rochester Institute of Technology (register here)
  • New York City – Microsoft Office, 1290 Avenue of the Americas (register here)

Make it Happen in the CloudOn Monday, April 29th, join Slalom Consulting and Microsoft as they co-host, Make it Happen in the Cloud: Windows Azure Developer Camp in the Microsoft Office at 1 Cambridge Center in Cambridge MA.

As with the Bootcamp, bring your laptop with the prerequisites here installed, and be sure to provision your free 90-day Windows Azure Trial Account to participate in the hands-on labs and walkthroughs.
