Over the next eight days, I’ll be giving away nearly $2000 worth of Microsoft Points, and all you have to do is sign up for Generation App, a free, 30-day, self-paced learning program that could end with you having a Windows 8 or Windows Phone application in the Windows Store!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to the Points to Learn Sweepstakes site and follow the simple entry instructions.
  2. Each weekday - from January 15th through January 24th - I’ll draw EIGHT winners at random from the previous day’s submissions (on Monday, January 21, I’ll draw from all entries received over the weekend as well). For each day’s drawing:
    1. THREE winners will receive a code for 4000 Microsoft (Xbox) Points (worth $49.99), and
    2. FIVE winners will receive a code for 1600 Microsoft (Xbox) Points (worth $19.99).
