MS Dev WNY - Buffalo Area Developers Group Kicks Off!

Next Wednesday, Oct. 26th, MS Dev WNY (the rebranded presence of the Western New York .NET User’s Group) ushers back in a monthly get-together of Microsoft developers of all kinds – .NET, Windows Phone, Windows Azure, and who knows what’s to come!

At the helm and the first speaker is Rich Nalezynski, who will be presenting an “Introduction to Windows Phone Development.”   It wouldn’t be a User Group without pizza, provided by the generous sponsorship of PSI, and there will be some great giveaways as well, including a Windows Phone!

Here are the particulars, and please RSVP so they have an accurate count for food and drink.

RSVP here!

When: Wednesday, October 26th, 2011, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: BCG 4185 Bayview Road Blasdell NY 14219

Looking ahead, the group is working around the upcoming holiday schedules and planning to have another meeting in November.  A regular cadence of monthly meetings will then begin in January.

Having met with Rich and some other community leaders in the area recently, I experienced first hand their enthusiasm about getting the group going again.  MS Dew WNY now joins the established Western New York SQL PASS group as well as the Western New York Back Office Technology User Group (WNY BOT) in an awesome trifecta of learning and networking opportunities for developers and IT professionals in the greater Buffalo area.
