Fall Code Camps
Update!!! The site to submit abstracts and register for the New England Code Camp was just announced!
As you’re filling in your fall calendar, be sure you set aside time for one or more of the upcoming code camps, all free learning events “by the community, for the community!”

Maine Developer Network Code Camp #1 holds the distinction of being the first Code Camp in the area (or anywhere?) to actually be held at a campground: Mt. Blue State Park in Weld, ME next weekend, August 27-29! A group site has already been reserved, so admittance is free (with the secret password); those with campers will need to register however. Check out the schedule of activities and sign up here. |

Vermont Code Camp 2 will be held on Saturday, September 11th at the University of Vermont in Burlington. Presentation abstracts are being accepted through August 23rd, and the lineup offers quite a variety of .NET and Open Source topics! You can register to attend now as well via EventBrite. |

SharePoint Saturday – Boston returns to the Microsoft Office in Waltham on Saturday, September 25th. If you’re interested in speaking, you can download the submission form and apply through August 21st. Check back at the SharePoint Saturday site for registration links. |

Design Camp Boston is the newest entry to the New England scene, a Code Camp focused on designers – HTML 5, CSS, CMS, etc. Check out the fantastic site (you can tell it’s designers not developers at the helm!) and mark your calendar for Saturday, November 6th, at Microsoft’s New England Research and Development Center (NERD) in Cambridge. |
