The Launch Rolls On – Northeast Roadshow and More

Visual Studio 2010 Thanks to all of those who turned out for the Visual Studio 2010 launch event in Boston on Thursday.  There was definitely a vast variety of technology presented, all providing food for thought as to how you’ll answer the question “What will you do with Visual Studio 2010.”

Northeast RoadshowWell, I can tell you what Chris and I will be doing.  We’re hitting the road again this week, bringing much of the content, and a few new things, to our three stops on the Northeast Roadshow.  We’re also partnering with our IT Professional colleagues, who will be running a morning TechNet event, so consider joining us for the entire day.   Here are the links to the registration sites:

Date Location Northeast Roadshow TechNet
May 6th, 2010 Rochester NY Register Register
May 11th, 2010 Augusta ME Register Register
May 13th, 2010 Farmington CT Register Register

We’ll have a few copies of Visual Studio 2010 to give out at each of those events, and at the end of the series an attendee from one of the three stops will be randomly selected to win a Zune HD.

Launch and Learn Those of you in the Albany area will note we’re not making a Roadshow stop there this quarter, but that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the Visual Studio 2010 launch momentum.

Griff Townsend of the Tech Valley User Group is putting together a special hands-on event focused on Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.  It’s being held at the New Horizons Training Center in Albany on May 15th.  You can read more about it and register at the LaunchAndLearn.net site.
