Fire Up Your Azure Skills – May 8th

Heard a lot about Windows Azure, Microsoft’s Cloud Computing platform, but just overwhelmed by it all?  or perhaps haven’t had time to sit down and give it a whirl?   This event is for you!

Sponsored by the Boston Azure User Group, the Azure Firestarter is coming to the New England Research and Development Center (aka NERD) on Saturday, May 8th.

This free event aims to take you from 0 to 60 in terms of getting up to speed with Windows Azure, using both presentations and labs to reinforce the concepts.  You’re encouraged to bring your laptop and/or buddy up with a colleague to take advantage of the hands-on activities that will have you deploying to your own little corner of the cloud.  All attendees will receive a token for a free, two-week Windows Azure account to use on-site as well as back home to kick the tires even more.
