Vegas

Well, wait no longer, Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 are released as of today, with the official announcement coming at DevConnections in Las Vegas.  If you’ve been working with the betas or RCs, you’re already familiar with and probably relying on a lot of the cool new features – IntelliTrace, HTML snippets, task parallel library integration, F#, and more.

Channel 9 Live broadcast You can follow the goings-on in Vegas from the comfort of your own home by tuning into Channel 9 Live beginning at 11 a.m. today.

Boston Launch

Launch event All the fun isn’t confined to Las Vegas though; the Boston launch event will take place on April 29th, at the Westin Copley Place, with two tracks.  One, focused on developers, will cover application lifecycle management (ALM), SharePoint development, Windows client, Web, and Windows Phone 7 development.  The IT Professional audience will get to hear all about Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 Server.

Northeast Roadshow

Northeast Roadshow Well, of course Chris and I will be at it again, hitting the road with coffee, SWAG, and sometimes compelling content for the next edition of the Northeast Roadshow which will be all about Visual Studio 2010.

We’ll have three stops on this tour.  Note, Waltham is not one of them, so be sure you sign up for the launch event if you want to see us in the immediate Boston area.  Both Chris and I will be sharing the stage with other presenters there (although I expect we won’t be throwing foam blocks at the audience as is the Roadshow tradition).

On the Roadshow itself, we’re partnering with our IT Professional colleagues, who will be running a morning TechNet event, so consider joining us for the entire day.   Here are the links to the registration sites:
