February is SharePoint Month

Not that I have any power to name a month, but if there’s a “Talk Like a Pirate Day,” I say why not.  There are two significant events coming up next month revolving around SharePoint at the Microsoft Office in Waltham.

Best of SharePoint Conference (Monday, February 1st, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

What happened in Vegas isn’t staying in Vegas (this time).  Geared toward our Northeast region enterprise customers, Microsoft is bringing the best of the 2009 SharePoint Conference to you.  The day will include a keynote by one of the Microsoft product managers, content delivered by presenters from the original conference, and a host of breakout sessions.

Check out Chris Bortlik’s blog post for more information on the program and directions to register.

SharePoint Saturday (Saturday, February 27th, 8:45 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

SharePoint Saturday SharePoint Saturday – Boston is a free, community event (in the Code Camp style).  Look for registration to open by the end of January, but there’s a list of the sessions posted now to whet your appetite!

This type of an event doesn’t happen without significant coordination and outside sponsorship, so thanks to AvePoint, BlueThread, CorasWorks, echoTechnology, Grace-Hunt, K2, Knowledge Management Associates, Metalogix, Quest Software, RepliWeb, and ThirdM.
