It’s been a few weeks since I joined Microsoft and the Evangelism Team in the Northeast District, and I’ve only now been able to come up for air to launch my blog. I’ve met some of you already through user group meetings, the Heroes Happen Here launch events, and as the newest member of the
Bob and Chris MSDN Roadshow Northeast Roadshow, and I’m looking forward to meeting more of you as time goes on.
Now, let’s talk about me <G>…. I come to Microsoft from Sybase after about 12 years of working as a technical support engineer, trainer, pre-sales consultant, and de facto evangelist for developer tools (PowerBuilder) and application server technology (EAServer/Appeon). I like to think of customer advocacy as my strongest asset, and given what I’ve learned of what makes Microsoft tick, it’s gonna be a great fit! I have a lot to learn on both the technical and community sides of things here, so I encourage you to let me know what I’m doing right as well as what I’m doing not-so-right. Drop me an e-mail and introduce yourself, and hopefully I’ll catch you at a future event.
