“Microsoft Dynamics CRM.” Yes, that’s a period at the end.

image The Microsoft Dynamics CRM group on LinkedIn is a Super Group with over 8000 members. When the group was created, there were so many CRM groups out there that I had to add a period at the end of the name for it to be unique. I then wrote the much small, unofficial groups and asked them to merge. Many said they would but never actually accomplished that.

For those who don’t already know LinkedIn.com is a business-oriented social networking site founded in 2002. With over 600 million registered users (last count) from more than 200 countries, this is a premier site to park your resume.

LinkedIn also allows users to research companies with which they may be interested in working. When typing the name of a given company in the search box, statistics about the company are provided. These may include the ratio of female to male employees, the percentage of the most common titles/positions held within the company, the location of the company's headquarters and offices, or a list of present, past, and former employees.”
