FAQ: Released Hotfixes and Updates for Microsoft CRM

A buddy of mine on the CRM product team created a list of *most* of the Hotfixes and Updates released by the CRM Sustained Engineering team from v1 (which is in legacy status and thus unsupported) to the newest Microsoft Dynamics CRM releases.

Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0i (Chinese (PRC) and Japanese)
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Service Provider Edition (aka SPLA)

Please note:

For Microsoft CRM released that are currently being serviced, the "master KB articles" listing all available hotfixes or updates are generally “behind” a bit by necessity due to the development and documentation processes, which are in order:

  • The CRM Sustained Engineering Team develops, tests, and releases a fix to either https://hotfix (for hotfixes) or the Microsoft Download Center (for updates)
  • CRM Product Support completes and publishes the individual KBs that are listed in these “master KB articles” to https://www.microsoft.com
  • The “master KB articles” referenced above are updated after the individual KBs are completed and published
