I have just finished reading "Programming Distributed Applications With COM & Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0". I really loved this book, though technologies explained in this book are somewhat older (we have new version for almost all technologies explained there), but reason I read this book was I wanted to explain the evolution process of today's distributed technologies. How today's dist. technologies can reach where they are!!

Though, things are bit old in this book, still they helped me clear many of my concepts (I never knew this much about Visual Basic-COM integration being a C++ programmer.)

All thanks to Author of the book, Ted Pattison for short but sweet explanation of all important topics.

Now, a small round of MSDTC internals is on the to-do list.. Happy
