PDC 2009

I’ve just returned home from the Professional Developers Conference (PDC), a conference focused on new technology from Microsoft.  A number of exciting announcements were made:

• The Windows Azure Platform was released.
• The Silverlight 4 Beta was unveiled.
• The SharePoint and Office 2010 Beta was revealed.

In addition, there were many strong technical sessions on C#, Visual Basic, Azure, parallel computing, Windows Workflow, Office development, Windows 7 development, SQL Azure, WPF, WCF, Silverlight, Surface development, xRM development, and much more.
