Just read from Bryan Krieger that he's updated the forum post the Frequently Asked Questions related to installing TFS 2008.  We've invested a lot of effort to ensure that the installation experience for TFS 2008 is vastly improved compared to TFS 2005.  Hopefully, you agree that the deployment experience is improving.  We know we're not done so we continue to invest in this area to make it even easier and more robust with future releases.
