New notebook!

It’s like Christmas… oh wait it is Christmas!

I recently came up for a replacement notebook – as most of us in engineering land do every couple years. so the process is Order, get it approved, wait for it to arrive, and then go to town putting all the toys on it. it’s great… just got live wave 3 installed on it, so sorry I’ve been offline for some time.

the unit – Lenovo X200T. This thing is sweet! uses the new SU9300 Series Intel CPU – very slick power management! this thing boasts up to a whopping 10 hour battery life. (haven’t tested it yet). and it only weighs just over 2 pounds… with the extended battery!

12.1” Superbright WXGA (1280x800)

Wacom multi-touch tablet input panel (Stylus and touch)

All the usual – Bluetooth, wifi (AGN), WWAN (choice of EvDO, or HSDPA… there will be a WiMAX radio when they finally release one)
