Nokia Support Windows Mobile (for GPS)

In an interesting twist Nokia have relased their Smart2Go Mapping and Navigation solution for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices!

It's available as a free download from HERE

The initial release is for selected Nokia S60 and Windows Mobile 5.0 devices initially...

So not quite a Nokia device running Windows Mobile but fascinating all the same.....

this sounds interesting, but I don’t see how they can give away functionality that costs around 150ukp and usually comes in cigarette sized box that sucks your windscreen.

Has anyone actually given this a try and here in the UK to be more specific?

I’m interested,, but sceptical (which is the norm)

I’ve tried it. it has a lot of features but it just hangs my device constantly. hence why it is still in beta. I’m sure once things are ironed out it will be a good app to have on ones mobile device.
