Vodafone Germany release HTC Herald as VPA Compact IV

Vodafone have released the VPA Compact IV.  This device is effectively the HTC Herald or the P4350 in HTC naming terms.   It has an internal memory of 128 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM as well as quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Bluetooth and WiFi b/g.

The keyboard slider mechanism is 'assisted' and the overall device is very thin for a keyboarded device - it's as thin as the previous iterations of devices without keyboards such as the JAM, JAMin and Prophet variants.
