I had a few customers unhappy with the Samsung i320 battery life.  One of my colleagues discovered that you can boost the battery life of the i320 by simply deactivating the IR port, which is always on 24/7 in the standard set-up out of the box.   This should increase battery life by (approximately) 100%.

Just go to “Start / Settings / Plus / Connections / Send” and un-tick the box.
