Windows Mobile scoops 5 Total Mobile awards!

Readers of Total Mobile, the UK's top mobile phone mag, will have seen the excellent results for Microsoft Windows Mobile devices in five categories of the Total Mobile 2006 Awards.

Windows Mobile devices won:

  • Best GSM Mobile with the Samsung SGH-i300, and runner-up with the Orange SPV550

  • Best Smartphone with the O2 Exec (also available on other networks), and three runners-up with the iMate Jam, Samsung SGH-i300 and Orange SPV550.
  • Best Innovation with the Samsung SGH-i300 (hard disk phone)
  • Best Music Mobile runner-up with the Orange SPV550
  • And Best Accessory for the Windows Mobile-based satellite navigation package CoPilot 6.

The categories we weren't successful in were Best 3G Mobile, Best Cameraphone, Best Style Phone, Best Java Game and, unsurprisingly, Best Network. Apart from the last two, we'll see if we can succeed in those next year! 🙂
