Wolverhampton Local Education Authority win Award with Pocket PC’s!


Wolverhampton Local Education Authority have been using Pocket PC devices in school for some time now!  They have recently won the UK 2006 ICT in Practice 2006 award for Collaboration.

 For those of you outside of Education Sector – Becta is the Government’s key partner in the strategic development and delivery of its information and communications technology (ICT) and e-learning strategy for the schools and the learning and skills sectors.

    Thanks for featuring this.. We are very pleased that this award has recognised all of the hard work that has gone in to our project over the last 18 months.. Many thanks for your support too!!

    We now look forward to our next phase which sees the roll out of over 1000 devices (Pocket LOOX 720’s) to around 20 schools from November..

    Maybe we can do a regular update of progress through your blog page?????
