I am a software developer in Microsoft Corporation working on an internal testing platform/framework for testing Windows (externally shipping as the Windows Logo Toolkit). Being daily in the first line during the thorough ‘attacks’ of large amounts of various tests; designing high reliability software, hardening legacy code and debugging user mode and kernel mode crashes (from the basic AVs to the most obscure heap corruptions) is bread and butter of our daily work.
I decided to share some of the gained experience and knowledge trough the posts on this blog (as the time will allow). I hope this will not only be a future reference for myself, but also a helpful source of information for others. Let’s see…
