VS 2017 and Service Fabric project template not showing

In the case you're trying to create a Service Fabric project template within VS 2017 and the option isn't displaying within your available VS 2017 project templates - check and double check your VS Installer options:

You'll also need the Azure Service Fabric SDK available through the Web Platform Installer: https://www.microsoft.com/web/handlers/webpi.ashx?command=getinstallerredirect&appid=MicrosoftAzure-ServiceFabric-CoreSDK

In my case, in an earlier installation I had unchecked this (default) option from the Azure Development workload.
