:) How deep do seals dive?

Answer:  The Weddell seal of Antarctic waters is one of the deepest-diving seals.  It can dive to depths of more than 1,968 feet (600 meters) in search of food.  When it dives, blood flow is cut off to all but essential organs such as the heart.
