One More Event: SQL Server User Group Event in Dublin

imageI also wanted to mention one other event coming up next week.  The SQL Server User Group is having Shahar Bar, CEO of Valinor, talk about High Availability and Business Continuity with SQL 2008 at the Microsoft building on Monday, October 13th at 18:00.  Shahar is also a Senior SQL Server consultant for Valinor, which is a dedicated and independent SQL Server consulting services company.

Summary: The meeting will deal with challenges of business continuity and the different solutions SQL 2008 offers to handle them. We will compare and demonstrate the different high availability solutions by SQL Server 2008, and learn how to choose the solution that will suite our business needs and budget.
