.NET 3.5 SP1 Released Plus Free .Net 3.5 Enhancements Training Kit

Yesterday Microsoft released its .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.  It is now available for download here: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=124150.  The new version of the framework includes:

  • ASP.NET Dynamic Dataimage
  • Core improvements to the CLR
  • Performance improvements for WPF
  • Support for the new date and file stream capabilities in SQL Server 2008 for LINQ to SQL
  • New support for file stream and sparse capabilities in SQL Server 2008 added by the .NET Framework Data Provider for SQL Server
  • Ability to opt out of signing and hashing as appropriate for ClickOnce application publishers
  • And many more new features and enhancements to the framework

This is big news, but alongside that comes another free download from the Developer Division, the .NET 3.5 Enhancements Training Kit.  The Training Kit has been updated to work with Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and .NET 3.5 SP1, and includes presentations, demos and labs.

The presentations include:
