Windows Azure Migration Scanner (WAMS) - Help Converting Applications to Windows Azure

A rules-based Windows Azure Migration Scanner (WAMS) prototype has been developed by Microsoft’s Hanu Kommalapati and enhanced by David Pallmann, Windows Azure MVP from Neudesic.

You can think of WAMS as sort of an FXCop for Azure that will analyze an existing codebase to determine if there are any Windows Azure migration issues.

The project comes with a GUI UI (shown above), a command line version and a library for incorporating WAMS into other developer tools.
