Session Overview:

Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V and the System Center portfolio afford IT organizations flexibility in the dynamic delivery of IT services to end users. With the recent release of the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Self Service Portal solution virtualized private cloud initiatives can now more effectively provide self-service provisioning and business models. This provides greatly improved access to IT services for end users. However, it also creates a need for proper metering and measurement of IT services consumed.

 

This webinar will present Microsoft ISV Partner VKernel’s Chargeback solution for Hyper-V. This demo-based webinar will detail the needs for chargeback in IT today and how the VKernel solution is architected to provide visibility and reporting into private cloud consumption and costs.

Web-based console

In some situations, you may not be able to use the Live Meeting console software. You will then be provided with a link to attend the event by using the Web-based console. You will be provided with this link if:

  • You cancel the installation of the Live Meeting console software.
  • You are unable to install the Live Meeting console software.
  • You are using a Macintosh computer.

Note: Although using the Web-based console is similar to using the Windows-based Live Meeting console software, the functionality and layout of the Web Based console are different.
