From Warsaw, Poland: Microsoft Technology Summit 2010

This week, I got an opportunity to present on CRM 2011, xRM, Azure, SharePoint, BPOS at Microsoft Technology Summit (MTS) 2010, Warsaw, Poland. This is my first trip to Eastern Europe (and Poland is my 11th country to visit), and I like it so far.

MTS2010 seems a popular conference in Poland; we have around 3,000 folks attending (surprised to see such a big gathering of Technology folks). The venue is Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw (Polish: Pałac Kultury i Nauki, also abbreviated PKiN), one of the best venues I have seen so far. Little bit history… PKiN is the tallest building of Poland and it was a gift from the Soviet Union to the people of Poland. Today it houses cinemas, theatres, museums, and a beautiful conference hall for 3000 people.

I got to meet several friends from Microsoft (Clemens Vasters, Azure Tech Lead, Daniel Biesiada, Poland DE, Sylwia Ptaszek-Pydyn, DPE Poland, Dariusz Piotrowski Poland DPE Lead, Liam Cavanagh, SQL Azure PM) and David Chappell, known for his unique writing and speaking engagements.
