On April 11, 2017, Microsoft will end all support for Host Integration Server 2006 and BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems 2006. Since these versions are installed over Windows Server 2003, and SQL Server 2005, the EOL for these foundation servers has already passed.
Host Integration Server has had several releases since 2006, including major version updates in 2009, 2010, and 2013. The current shipping version is Host Integration Server 2013. Microsoft is already working on the next release.
Almost all customers that were formerly using the 2006 releases have already upgraded to newer versions. All customers using Host Integration Server 2006 should upgrade to current versions.
