Fail to install Adobe Reader 8.0 on Vista box

I kept getting "your temp directory is read only" error when i tried to install Adobe Reader 8.0 on my new Vista box. Here is the suggestions i got from my friend and it actually works!

 1. Right click on your Acrobat install executable -> Select “property” on pop up menu

2. Select “Compatibility” tab

3. Under “Compatibility mode” field, check “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” check box, and leave the drop down selection for Windows XP (Service pack 2).

4. Click Apply, and exit the property.

5. Click on executable and install.

Installation should be running fine from here.

Compatibility mode on Vista is very cool!
