Orlando is Mobagical!

If you are kid (or kid at heart), it doesn’t get any more magical than Orlando. If you are a developer, it doesn’t get any more mobile right now than Orlando.

For those of you who attended DevConnections last month in Orlando, THANKS for coming out. I had a great time and I hope you enjoyed the event as well as the mobility track. Mobile development has gone mainstream, so while that means no MEDC this year, the good news is that all the mainstream developer events are going to spotlight mobile content. That means more bang for your developer buck. We’ll continue building developer momentum this year with Tech-Ed Developer next month. This event is going to be packed with a plethora of mobile content and many of the industry and community gurus that keep it cutting edge. I’ve been sitting in on some of the dry-runs and let me say...the sessions are looking really good. I was pleasantly surprised to see some new content and depth I haven’t seen in previous shows (Networking, SQLCE Tuning, Web Service trends, etc.). You can preview the session lineup here: https://www.msteched.com/dev/public/sessions.aspx (filter on Mobility Track)

I’ll be doing a couple of Interactive Theater sessions on Mobile Deployment for Developers and also a refresh of Shorten your Mobile Development Cycle from the Partner Summit. The interactive theater sessions are whiteboards and demos in an interactive setting… no slide decks. Come on by and see me or stop by the Windows Mobile booths and say “Hi.” I would love to hear about what you are doing and what you’d like to see from us.

Cheers,
Reed
