As suspected, David Lee Roth is a business genius.

OK, it was never suspected. Didn’t even cross my mind really. I mean, the brown M&M thing? It was just so much easier to assume it was diva tendencies. Zebra spandex and general nuttiness? Also things DLR excelled in. Who would have known he was an operations expert?

I read about that. I loved "Consider Van Halen. (We have been waiting years for the chance to write that sentence)." Classic. It’s interesting how our teenage pop culture is now showing up in articles across the board. Interesting and kind of scary as well, huh?

Yeah, guys, it was a good read. It is weird how you heard about the M&M thing but not in this context. Does it make you question some of these pop icon rumors?

Yes and no.  I had known that the M&M thing was more than just crazy rock divaness (making up words as I go, I know). So, yes I think things these folks did were misconstrued and warped to a certain extent. On the other hand, I am sure there are plenty of things they did that we aren’t privvy too that were pretty outrageous.

Yeah, so we should call it even 🙂
