Contextual weirdness

It's probably time for me to get back to some regular blogging. Sheesh.

I was in Arizona this past week, spending time with family (including my awesome Aunt Di) and friends. We went to the USC v. Arizona State game. It was really sad to see so many of the ASU fans empty out of the stadium in the third quarter. Sorry, it was bad form (shame on you!). I can understand being disappointed but you just don't do that. Anyway, weirdest thing I saw all week was Little Richard performing at half-time. Good for him for still rocking into his seventies (seventies, right?), but Little Richard with a full face of make-up is not a natural match for ASU or the Arizona heat. Weird and awesome at the same time.

And you know what we had for dinner on Thanksgiving? "Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Cranberry Sauce....Wooohooo!"

I realize that this is a year old (or more), but how come all the best advertisements are from insurance companies these days?

"Help me! Somebody help me!"
