Bill Gates predicts the future from the past

Well, he did in 1987. Remembering back to what I was thinking about in 1987 (needless to say, it was not computers), none of this stuff would have even been remotely on my mind. Four years later I would be buying a car that had the kind of windows you had to crank up and down. Hey! I was still worried about trying to pay the rent...or finding a place to rent and then worrying about how to try to pay for it. Finding a job and then finding a place to rent and then...nevermind.

Would you have even known the words to use to describe your predictions? Words like "online". I'm sure I had never uttered it in 1987. PlatĀ  panel. This all would have sounded very sci-fi to me then. Now it sounds kind of quaint and some of it pretty accurate.
