Man, I’m not trying to be a holiday buzz kill. I just don’t get that into it. I think I’m more of a Halloween/Thanksgiving person.  I’ll let one of my readers with a blog pick this up. I’m not quite sure who exactly celebrates Christmas, another holiday or nothing at this time of year.

On the pumpkin note, have you tried a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte?  It’s seasonal, as you can imagine, and it’s almost all I ever order when they have it!

If you’re sick of the snow you need a Christmas holiday in Australia, how does a 30+ degrees (centigrade) day at the beach sound? My family usually celebrates with a champagne breakfast on the back deck (croissants, bacon, fruit juice and champagne ofcourse) followed by presents, the annual backyard bocce contest and BBQ lunch, after which we all pass out on assorted lounges then go the beach or I go visit my boyfriends family for a dip in their pool. (:

Merry Christmas, hope the weather improves for you soon.

Would you believe my comments about trees were found by a reporter for the wall street journal, and I was quoted.

I’m with you on the egg nog, thankfully the holiday season is only once a year, I’d live on that stuff if it was around all year.
