  1. And to think just today I sent a email nuke to my team telling them if they don’t get their heads out of their posteriors I would cut their throats.  Course, if they quit, note or not, saves me the pain of firing.

    Yes, it definitely pays to be nice to your employees.

    One day a friend of mine and I went to a drive-in restaurant.  Mind you it was lunch time so it was pretty busy. There were probably a total of 5 servers working. Our server greeted us (she was very nice, cheerful), took our order, when back to the order area to drop it off, and proceeded to walk off the job with the rest of the servers and two others (which we believe were the cooks). The owners ran out of the restaurant yelling at the departing employees and then informed all of us customers they were closing immediately as they had no staff. What a lunch 😛
