I can answer five questions, no problem

As long as there’s no limit to how much space I can take up to answer them ; )

Can you get any more popular? Microsoft better be proud!

  2. HeatherLeigh says:

Nah, Tim, I don’t think that people around here care all that much.

  3. Anon says:

Better post anonymously since HH has helped me with some job stuff in the past (and probably more emails in the future); I don’t want to seem disingenuous. That said…

From this article we can see that: Heather is hot, loves football, and is a neat freak == perfect woman.

And probably my fav blogger too – you rock Heather!

  4. Another superfan says:

seriously. you are extremely attractive. marry me?

  5. HeatherLeigh says:

Haha…you guys are funny! Good for my ego! Thanks!

  6. nate says:

what will be the score of the post-season USC football bowl game?

  7. HeatherLeigh says:

OK, well let’s see. My guess is that we are playing Texas in the Rosebowl (not a big stretch but we have one more game to go). Vince Young is a mobile QB. We have issues in the secondary so he may lay out some long passes as well. From us, you’ll probably see a lot of thunder and lightening plus, Smith, Jarrett and Kirtman, so I suspect their defenders will have trouble covering all of our weapons (and post Heisman ceremony, there’s no reason why we wouldn’t use them all). Plus the draft is coming up…expect to see some great returns from Darnell Bing (and some big hits…party game…everyone yells "Bing!"). Both teams are going to want to go in there and make a statement (both QBs are Heisman candidates plus Reggie Bush who is the person I pick to win the Heisman). So if we pull away in the first half, the second half is all us. Texas trevels well, but Pasadena will be a bit of a hometown crowd for us (I’d say the 12th man will be a wash). Ahh, I’m stalling. My guess is a high scoring, but relatively close game: 41 to 35, SC wins.

  8. But you can’t really give an answer to all questions:

Heather, have you stopped embezzling money from Microsoft yet?

  9. Dennis Smith says:

Great read, Heather! But I must tell you – I’m really looking forward to the Rose Bowl. Mind you, I do believe SC is the better team, but that will make it even sweeter if the ‘Horns knock them from their pedestal!

I will certainly be thinking of you if it happens. If it doesn’t, well you most certainly will not hear from me! 🙂

  10. HeatherLeigh says:

    Thanks Nate!

Blake, that depends on if you’ve stopped beating your wife yet. (OK, anyone who doesn’t get the joke probably thinks we are crazy).

Dennis-don’t worry, I’ll find you (evil laughter while she cues the Fight Song). OK, seriously, I agree that it will be a great game (I predicted the USC Texas match-up at the beginning of the season…me and about a million other people). I’m just thinking about how much moolah I am going to have to part with to get tickets…ugh. Regardless of who wins, it’s an honor just to be there (sounds cheesy, but we are ALWAYS aiming for the Rose Bowl). ANd hopefully, we’ll have another Heisman by then. I liked your answers on the 5 questions thing. Sounds like we think similarly about candidate experience and technology ; )

First chair throwing and now wife beating and money laundering on the MS HR blog.

Next on Jerry Springer’s white trash recruiting network…

Just kidding! I just wish I were in on the joke 🙁

  12. HeatherLeigh says:

Dan, the joke is that by answering the question, you are acknowledging that you have done it in the past. There’s no good answer to "when did you stop beating your wife?" because either way, you are a wife beater. Get it?

  13. DanF says:

Is that all? I thought I was going to get some dirt 😛

  14. HeatherLeigh says:

DanF, sorry to disappoint ; )Those of us working in a cost center never even see money coming in…and I don’t even know if Blake has a wife ; )
