Channel Marketing Manager-Mobile and Embedded (137255)

Do you have a creative mind for marketing, an understanding of retail, a passion for mobile phone technology and want to work with other regions? The Mobile Devices Marketing Group is looking for a Marketing Manager for the worldwide Channel Marketing Team.

The team’s top mission is to drive market-share, revenue and profit for Windows Mobile-based devices. We partner internally and externally to develop effective marketing strategies and programs for the mobile devices channel.

This position is responsible for developing a variety of marketing materials for US, Europe and Asia channels that clearly communicate the Windows Mobile value proposition and ensure a positive customer experience. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing the overall Windows Mobile brand implementation across the worldwide channel.

Responsibilities include:
· Create windows mobile channel brand strategy for use in US, Europe and Asia; and provide for some customization by strategic partners.
· Manage and develop brand and partner portal for WW audience that supports channel initiatives and drives global brand consistency, faster time to market for deliverables and increases partner satisfaction.
· Create localized brand messaging for all channel deliverables to drive the WM value propositions where displays are not possible
· Create various pieces of collateral that clearly communicate WM value propositions, and are localized and customized for strategic markets and partners
· Contributes significantly to development of new and effective value propositions and the associated messaging
· Identify, establish and publish marketing guidelines for partners, vendors and subsidiaries in order to provide a consistent and positive brand experience across the worldwide channel.
This position requires strong experience with product positioning, messaging, brand building, visual merchandising, and retail and consumer marketing. Candidate must have ability to execute innovative, creative, yet disciplined, marketing programs and promotions.

This job involves a significant amount of decision making, process or solution implementation and enforcement and cross team collaboration. This position requires someone who has strong project planning and organizational skills and has great communication skills.

You should be self-directed, highly results oriented, very motivated, and well organized. BA/BS required, MBA preferred. Knowledge of, or experience in, mobility or mobile phone marketing is a plus. International and domestic travel is required.
