Recruiting podcasts

On his blog, Gerry Crispin  links to podcasts he has done as the interviewer or interviewee, as well as his take on the podcasting medium (medium, channel, depends on how you define podcasting).

I'm going to do a post soon on Staffing industry leadership and innovation. When I was thinking about this last night, I wrote down: "asking the old dogs about the new tricks". Then I thought about Meg Ryan in 'When Harry met Sally': "Is one of us a dog in this scenario? Are you saying that I am the dog?"...no, nobody's an actual dog. So my less-catchy version is: "Can you teach an established Staffing industry leader what the up-and-comers are doing to innovate?". I'll give you a clue: Gerry's an example of someone who has kept up with changes in technology. Sometimes, being a leader doesn't mean being an expert on everything. There's great leadership and value in recognizing other peoples' expertise and championing it.

More on that later. In the meantime, you might want to check out some of Gerry's interviews. He speaks to recruiting professionals but also gives the kind if insight a job seeker needs to understand how to get the best results from their job seeking activity (for example, his recommendations on using jobs sites versus internal referrals).
